Monique Spicer
Owner and Chief Experience Officer
Monique is a third-generation member of the hospitality field. Her family’s roots in butler-style service run deep, including service to a U.S. president, John F. Kennedy.
She studied communications and theatre at Hampton University and worked with Benchmark Hospitality before founding A La Carte in 2008. Her industry network and her theatre training show in how events run: calm in front, precise behind.
Her philosophy is that service is about creating a memorable experience, not just serving food.
